Abstract (English):
The book reflects land policy of Russia for more than a thousand-year period — from ancient Russian state formation up to nowadays with special attention to state land use planning and its types, methods and realization on various stages of historical, political and social development of the country. The history of land surveying, land administration, land governance is linked with different periods of land relations, types of land use and land ownership and also with land management on state, regional and local levels. The book is directed to specialists of land use planning and cadaster, to Russian and foreign students of land use planning and geodetic subjects, and also to all readers that are interested in land and its reforms, relations, use and management.
