Abstract (English):
This book was prepared by the staff of the State University for Land Management for the 175th anniversary of higher education in land management in Russia. It is an illustrated translation of the materials of the Library of the Deutsches Museum in Munich with explanations by the Belgian professor Jean de Grave presented to the Congress of the International Federation of Land Surveyors (FIG) in Munich (2006). The book is intended for researchers, specialists, graduate students and students involved in geodesy, land management and cadastres.
