Abstract (English):
The US Federal Land Policy and Managment Act of 1976, as amended and supplemented, is for the Bureau of Land Administration, the country's main land administration agency, the “basic law” establishing the department's multifaceted rights and responsibilities for the present and future generations of the state. The law is not compared with the Land Code of the Russian Federation. A comprehensive analysis of international experience and, in particular, this law can facilitate the adoption of decisions that have a beneficial effect on the development of land legislation in the field of land management, land use and land management in our country and throughout the entire post-Soviet space.
